Job Description:
A creative therapist is a specialist in psychotherapeutic treatment and rehabilitation. Creative therapy is a reasoned, purposeful and planned activity in psychotherapeutic treatment and rehabilitation in which creative and art-based methods and techniques are applied to a clearly defined client-therapist relationship to achieve goals based on the client's medical condition.
Creative therapies include four areas of specialisation: visual art therapy, music therapy, drama therapy and dance and movement therapy. It is based on the principle of a 'triangle': therapist-client-artwork.
Work is done with both children and adults.
